Welcome to the official home page of the Lebanon Fire and EMS Department located in York County, Maine.

The mission of the Lebanon Fire & EMS department is to safeguard the residents and visitors of our community by promptly and professionally providing quality fire suppression, fire prevention, public education, and emergency medical services.

We will accomplish this mission by promoting safety and maintaining a well-equipped, highly trained, and motivated force of professional firefighters and EMS personnel held to the highest level of integrity, commitment, teamwork, and community engagement.

​Lebanon is located in southern York County along the New Hampshire border. Lebanon covers almost 56 square miles and had just over 6,600 residents at the 2020 Census.​

In 2022, Lebanon Fire and EMS answered over 900 calls for service, with approximately 80 percent of the calls being medical in nature.​

Lebanon Fire-EMS (Station one) is located in East Lebanon at the corner of Upper Cross Road and Depot Road. The building is still in need of significant repairs to make it habitable and safe for our personnel.​ This station is currently used for apparatus and equipment storage only. Our operations and crew quarters have been temporarily relocated for the health and safety of our personnel. 

Station two is located in South Lebanon on Carl Broggi Highway (Route 202) near the Rochester, NH town line.​ (This station is currently closed) 

Lebanon operates two ambulances permitted to the Paramedic level, (2) engines, (1) brush truck, (1)6X6 OHRV, and (1) command car.​

Lebanon Fire and EMS is currently staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  In addition to the Chief, the daily schedule is composed of 3 personnel during the day and 2-3 at night depending on qualifications and employee availability. Other members still respond from home when needed and / or requested.
