Welcome to the official home page of the Lebanon Fire and EMS Department located in York County, Maine.
Lebanon is located in southern York County along the New Hampshire border. Lebanon covers almost 56 square miles and had just over 6,000 residents at the 2010 Census.
In 2017, Lebanon Fire and EMS answered 650 calls for service, with approximately 80 percent of the calls being medical in nature.
Lebanon currently has two stations Station one is located in East Lebanon at the corner of Upper Cross Road and Depot Road. This station is currently owned by the East Lebanon Fire Department Incorporated, but is in the process of being turned over to the Town of Lebanon. The building is in need of significant repairs to make it habitable.
Station two is located in South Lebanon on Carl Broggi Highway (Route 202) near the Rochester, NH town line.
Lebanon operates two ambulances licensed at the Paramedic level, two engines, two tankers, a brush truck, a utility van, a 6X6 OHRV, a small boat and a command car.
Lebanon Fire and EMS Station 2 is currently staffed with two per-diem members Monday-Friday 06:00-22:00 and Weekends 06:00-18:00. On-duty crews cover from home during the overnight.
The Lebanon Fire Chief is a full time employee. He normally works Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and has limited office hours on Monday and Thursday due to educational commitments. The Chief is also a Paramedic and routinely responds along with the per-diem crew if needed.
