Conservation Commission Meeting

June 22, 2017

The meeting of the Conservation Commission was called to order by John Bozak at the Martha Sawyer Library at 6:30 p.m. Those in attendance were: George Main, Ruth Gutman, Don Leuchs, Ed Cheever, Kevin Collins, John and Sandy Hutchinson.

John spoke about the meeting with the Selectmen regarding access to the town property via Hebo Hybo Road. Selectman Chip Harlow will present the info to the town lawyer to see how to proceed and will get back to us.

Volunteers were invited to assist with the Summer Camp Program at the Lebanon Elementary School on, Monday, July 24th. Invasive plant identification will be explored.

All are invited to help guide folks down to the Gully Oven on July 3rd at 1 p.m., as part of the Lebanon 250th Celebration.

            The Planning Board has asked for our input on a proposed building lot.

           

Plans are under way to treat the Naiad infestation on Milton Three Ponds in


July and/or August according to Laurie Callahan, Coordinator of the York County

 

Invasive Aquatic Species Project.

 

The next meeting is July 20th, 2017
