Conservation Commission Meeting

August 17, 2017

The meeting of the Conservation Commission was called to order by John Bozak at the home of Don Leuchs at 6:30 p.m. Those in attendance were: George Main, Ruth Gutman, Don Leuchs, Ed Cheever, John, and Sandy Hutchinson.

 

            Thanks to the research of the town clerk, it was found that the Hebo-Hybo Road is open to public access.

 

            It appears that the Planning Board has approved the condominium project            on

Rt. 202.

 

            The first treatment of Naiad has been done on Milton Three Ponds.

 

            A referendum draft for the proposal of the Hebo-Hybo property to be named a Town Forest has been sent to the selectmen for legal review. A public informational program regarding this project will be held on September 21, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. at the Martha Sawyer Library. Maps and informational handouts will be made available, and refreshments will be served.

 

            The next meeting is Sept. 21, 2017.
