Conservation Commission Meeting

The meeting of the Conservation Commission was called to order by John Bozak at the Martha Sawyer Library at 6:30 p.m.

A 6’ folding table and 10’ x10’ canopy have been purchased.

A Preliminary Baseline report for the Hebo Hybo property was presented by Don. There are areas of the report that need to be enhanced regarding the philosophy of long-term management, including a forest management plan and attention to glacial deposits.

In preparation for a spring vote for the “Community Forest”, several types of communication methods will need to be undertaken to publicize this matter.

Don is planning to attend the Acton Conservation Committee meeting Nov. 21.

The next meeting is January 18, 2018.
