The Lebanon Rescue Department is proud to announce our annual open house for Halloween, to give kids a safe place to go and receive safety information. This will be our 6th annual event and over 300 kids attended last year, plus all their parents, we had over 500 people in total last year. This will be a great time and the children will receive safety bags full of treats and receive tours of the ambulance. The open house will be Friday October 30th, 2009 from 5p-7p and Saturday October 31st, 2009 from 5p-7p. The event is sponsored by several local businesses and the Lebanon Rescue Corporation. Special thanks to McDougal Orchards of Springvale and Lebanon for donating the apples that we give away. The event will be held at
the Lebanon Rescue Station on Route 202 in South Lebanon (Blaisdell Corner).
At the open house, bins will be there for the coolection of canned goods for the Food Pantry to give to towns people in need. Hopefully by donating foods, it will help offset heating costs by giving them a little extra cash.
Please donate! It could be YOU in need next year! |
