Could you please send this out to the email list - thanks! The Lebanon Volunteer Rescue Department spent the past several weeks helping residents who needed a little bit of assistance for Christmas. Rescue volunteers received names of families that may need assistance from the school and Lebanon churches. The Rescue Corporation through fundraisers and donations helped about 30 children in 11 families with food, clothing and toys during the Holiday Season. Thanks to the fire department and citizens and groups
that donated to the fire department for assisting with toys and Lebanon Residents Chris and Lisa Gilpatrick who also donated toys to the rescue. Thanks to the Lebanon Town Hall Staff who helped with food baskets for residents. We were able to buy warm clothes and buy food gift cards for families through the rescue corporation for the families. By holding fundraisers through the year, like bean suppers, we were able to help make the Holidays better for about 30 children. We also received an anonymous donation that was used to help make the Christmas for 30 children so much better. Thanks to Welch's Hardware and Train's Quick Stop for their
continued support as well. Thank you to residents Milt and Dorothy Jackson and Gerry Cole for donations to the program. And finally thanks to the rescue volunteers who purchased the gifts, packaged them and then delivered them to the homes.
