Lebanon Rescue Receives Award
Lebanon Rescue Department Awarded Maine Commission for Community Service Grant-

As part of the Martin Luther King Day of Celebration, the Lebanon Volunteer Rescue Department is sponsoring a Community CPR/AED/First Aid class on Martin Luther King, Jr Day. The event will be held at the Hanson School on Upper Guinea Road in Lebanon on Monday, January 19th. The class will be held from 9am to 1pm and there is no cost for the class thanks to a grant from the Maine Commission for Community Service. The Lebanon Rescue Corporation and a donation from the Seacoast Trail Riders will also help pay for the event. (This class usually costs about $65.00 per student without these grants).

Come learn how to save a life.  Community members are vital in the chain of survival during sudden cardiac arrest.

Refreshments will be served.

The Lebanon event has been honored by the Presidential Inaugural Events Committee for President-Elect Barrack Obama and has been posted on their official website. It has also been honored by the Martin Luther King Day of Service committee and is recognized on their website.

If you would like more information, please contact Chief Samantha Cole at (207) 608-5614. Seating is limited, so people must sign up for the class ahead of time. They can call Chief Cole or email her at chiefcole@lebanonrescue.com
