The Springvale Fish & Game Club would like to invite you to its first Annual York County Ice Fishing Derby on January 31, 2010 for adults and children, all ages. Cash prizes will be awarded to adults and children alike. It will encompass all lakes and ponds in York County, and the weigh in headquarters will be at the Acton Fairgrounds, Acton, Me. Rules and pre-registration forms will be available at various locations.
Springvale Fish & Game Club has been successfully conducting local fishing derbies for many years now, with proceeds helping to send kids to conservation camp at Bryant Pond, Bethel, Me.
Among our other activities we also participate in Community Clean Up, and maintain a section of The Mousam Way Trail system.
Now we are excited to be conducting a countywide Ice Fishing Derby, and in addition to sending kids to camp, proceeds from this event will be used to support to the Spinal Bifida Foundation.
e hope you or your staff will join us the day of the derby and celebrate the accomplishments of all the fishermen. The awards ceremony will be at 3:30pm at the Acton fair grounds Springvale fish and game thanks you for your support.
